Paint protection film
Physical protection against chips and contact marks.
Transparent paint protection film at AVP Autopflege for prepared high-impact areas including front sections, mirrors, sills and loading edges.
Paint protection film
Inspect the paint before covering vulnerable areas.
Paint protection film, or PPF, is a transparent physical layer for areas exposed to stone chips, loading marks and repeated contact. Different parts of the vehicle face different risks.
We identify the useful coverage and prepare the paint first so contamination and existing defects are not sealed beneath the film.

When it fits
Exposure and expectations define the coverage.
PPF is useful on sound, prepared paint where front edges, sills, mirrors or loading areas need additional physical protection.
When leading edges work hardest.
Front sections, mirrors, sills and loading edges can be protected selectively.
When early protection makes sense.
New and well-maintained paint benefits most because the original finish starts in strong condition.
When the protection should remain discreet.
Modern clear films can include self-healing behaviour for fine surface marks under heat.
Process
Prepare, apply and inspect the film.
Paint assessment, decontamination, film installation and aftercare are planned as one process.
Analysis
We inspect paint condition and define the areas that receive meaningful protection.
Preparation
The surface is washed, decontaminated and corrected where agreed.
Film application
The transparent film is installed and checked for fit, edges and visual consistency.
Handover
Initial curing and correct washing of the protected areas are explained.
Honest assessment
PPF does not replace paint correction or whole-car surface care.
Existing defects remain beneath the film, edges can still be damaged and severe impacts can pass through. Film also ages and eventually needs professional removal or replacement.
We protect the areas that genuinely benefit rather than treating full coverage as the automatic answer.
