Car care for Kilchberg on the left shore of Lake Zurich: twenty-five minutes from our workshop, with the full range of services.
Kilchberg
Kilchberg sits on the left shore of Lake Zurich, around twenty-five minutes from our workshop in Glattbrugg. That is close enough for the full range of work, from hand washing to multi-stage paint correction.
The lakeside location brings its own load. Higher humidity through the year, morning condensation on the paint, and vehicles parked under trees on the slopes. Moisture alone does no harm, but it holds everything that sits on the surface.

Services around Zurich
Humidity, organic growth and well-kept vehicles with high expectations shape what is asked for here.

View hand polishingBeing near the lake means more condensation. Anyone driving mostly short distances struggles to get the damp out.

At twenty-five minutes there is no restriction by scope.
Via the Seestrasse and through the city, or via the motorway. Parking directly at the premises.
For multi-day preparation we collect the vehicle in Kilchberg and return it cared for.
For smaller jobs we come to the left lake shore. Polishing and coating need a constant temperature.
What we see here
Kilchberg lies between the lakeside road and the hillside, and both act on the car. Three things come up regularly.
The villa districts on the slope have mature trees, and mature trees shed a great deal. From April to July pollen sits on the paint, in summer sap. Sap hardens and has to be dissolved rather than rubbed off.
Traffic along the shore stands still at peak times. That means a lot of braking at low speed, and correspondingly hot brake dust bonded onto the wheels, especially on cars with large rims.
There is less salting by the lake than up on the heights, but humidity is higher all year. On seals, convertible roofs and inside the cabin that shows as mould rather than as salt damage.
Region
The left lake shore is served from Kilchberg on the same axis.
Towards the city lies Zurich, and further along the lake Horgen. Dietikon is reached via the Limmat valley.
The same routes apply to vehicles from Rüschlikon, Thalwil, Adliswil and Langnau am Albis. Which level of care fits is set out in the care packages, Smaragd to Diamant.
FAQ
Answers on lakeside conditions, scope and appointments.
Yes, mainly through humidity. Dirt clings longer to damp paint, and morning condensation dries with rings when there is no protective layer. A coating changes exactly that, because water runs off instead of standing.
If you are unsure, a short consultation is the right place to start. We assess the vehicle's use, condition, interior and paintwork, then recommend a package or combination that genuinely fits. You decide on the next step afterwards. The four levels are compared under the care packages.
No. Tell us about the vehicle, its condition and your goal. We will advise whether cleaning, polishing, paint protection, ceramic coating or a service workflow makes sense.
These prices provide guidance. The exact scope depends on vehicle size, condition, materials, soiling and the desired result. We agree the work clearly before starting.
That depends on their depth, material, cause and condition. Many marks can be removed or improved substantially. We explain what is realistic and material-safe before work begins. How deep a scratch sits decides the route, see scratch removal.
