Car preparation
Preparation that starts from condition.
Full car preparation at AVP in Glattbrugg near Zurich: interior, paint and details in one pass, planned from the condition rather than a fixed package.
Car preparation
Preparation is a sequence, not a package.
The word preparation gets used for almost everything, from a thorough wash to a multi-day complete treatment. Here it means something specific: interior, paint and details worked in a single pass, in a fixed order, after an assessment.
That order is why a preparation achieves more than the sum of the individual jobs. Polish first and clean the interior afterwards and you carry dust onto fresh paint. Coat before the fallout is out and you seal it in.

When preparation makes sense
Four occasions, four different scopes.
The occasion decides how far we go. Preparation before a sale is a different job from preparation after five years of family use.
So the condition speaks for itself.
A prepared vehicle demonstrably achieves a better price and sells faster. What matters is the interior and the paint, not the gloss in the photograph.
View used-vehicle preparationBefore the return report is written.
On lease and fleet returns, wear is assessed and charged. What can be put right beforehand costs considerably less than the later deduction.
View fleet preparationWhen a great deal has built up.
Where nothing has been done for a long time, a full preparation returns more than several separate appointments, because the stages build on each other.
View interior cleaningAs the basis for a coating.
Every coating is only as good as what lies beneath it. Preparation is the groundwork without which a protection system never reaches its durability.
View paint protectionProcess
The order we work in.
Four stages, always in this sequence. What each one involves is decided by the assessment at the start.
Assessment
Paint condition under raking light, thickness measured where needed, interior judged by material. The scope follows from that, not from a price list.
Interior
Inside first, because it creates dust. Seats, carpet, leather, dashboard and odour are assessed separately and treated accordingly.
Paint
Wash, decontamination, then whatever correction the paint can carry. Here the remaining clear coat decides how far we are able to go.
Details and protection
Wheels, door shuts, glass, trim and seals, then protection onto the corrected paint. Finally the check under raking light.
Time and effort
Why we do not quote a fixed price by phone.
Two identical models of the same year can mean one day or four days of work. The difference is not the vehicle but its condition.
What has settled in
A well-kept interior is half a day. Pet hair worked into the weave, stains in the carpet or an odour with an unclear source changes that fundamentally.
How many stages are needed
A single-stage polish is a matter of hours. Multi-stage correction with checks between passes takes days rather than hours.
Curing time is part of it
After application the protective layer needs time before it is durable. That time cannot be shortened, and it belongs in the schedule.
Who we work for
Private, business and the trade.
The process is the same, the planning differs. For businesses, vehicle availability counts at least as much as the result.
For private vehicles we book one appointment and hand the car back finished. For companies and fleets we set a rotation so enough vehicles stay in service, see business care. For garages and dealers we take on preparation as a fixed part of the workflow, including on site, see garage service.
Our workshop is in Glattbrugg near Zurich. Which routes suit your location is set out under service areas. Which care level suits your vehicle is shown with the care packages.
