Polishing electric cars
An electric car is not polished according to its drivetrain. The relevant questions are paint type, defect depth, previous repairs and the materials surrounding each panel.
Prepare the actual surfaces
The vehicle is washed and decontaminated as required. Textured trim, edges, cameras and sensitive components are protected before correction begins.
Establish a measured process
A test section determines the pad, compound and number of stages. Fixed product quantities or repeated passes are not useful rules across different paints.
Inspection lighting reveals remaining haze and correction marks. The process stops at the agreed result and within the safe material limits rather than continuing until every defect disappears.
Vehicle-specific lifting, power and high-voltage precautions remain part of workshop handling, even though the paint-correction principles are familiar.
