Paint protection film
Paint protection film offers more physical impact resistance than a liquid coating, but it does not make repainting or future damage impossible.
Where PPF is most useful
Front bumpers, bonnet edges, wings, sills and areas behind wheels receive frequent road impact. Track-driven vehicles may benefit from wider coverage.
Film can reduce chips, scuffs and light contact damage within its design limits. A sharp object, heavy impact or poor edge placement can still reach the paint.
Installation quality and substrate condition
AVP inspects paint and repairs before fitting. Adhesion, edge finish, stretch and contamination control determine the result; bubbles or lift are not simply impossible because an installer is experienced.
Maintenance remains necessary
PPF can make some residue easier to remove, but bird contamination, rubber and insects should still be treated promptly with film-compatible products.
Expected life, self-healing behaviour, warranty and removal risk depend on the named film and underlying finish.
