Under diffuse daylight, fine circular marks may disappear into reflections. A focused inspection light creates contrast that reveals swirls, haze and isolated scratches.

Light shows appearance, not depth by itself

Wash history is one possible source of circular marks, but drying, dirty towels and previous polishing can create similar patterns.

Lighting does not prove that a defect is safe to remove. AVP combines visual inspection with paint history, test sections and depth readings where appropriate.

Use light throughout correction

Before work, it helps define the target. During polishing, it reveals correction haze or residue. At handover, it supports comparison with the agreed result.

Fine defects may improve substantially, while deep scratches should remain rather than consume unsafe material. Complete scratch removal is not the default promise.
