Correcting paint damage on electric cars
Parking marks, stone chips and scratches occur on electric and combustion vehicles alike. The paint system and depth of damage determine the repair route.
Fine paint defects
Marks confined to the clear coat may respond to measured polishing. Inspection lighting and, where appropriate, paint-depth readings help define a safe target.
Deep scratches and chips
Touch-in paint can reduce contrast and protect exposed material on selected defects. It does not reproduce an invisible bodyshop finish across every deep scratch.
Dents and structural damage
Paintless dent repair may suit a clean, accessible dent with intact paint. Creases, cracked coatings, sensors or structural involvement require the appropriate specialist repair.
AVP assesses the visible damage first and explains whether correction, local touch-in, dent repair or refinishing is the realistic next step.
