Dark colours often reveal haze and holograms more readily, while light metallic finishes can hide them in diffuse light. That affects inspection, not the abrasive chemistry by itself.

Matte paint is a separate system

Matte and satin finishes should not be polished like gloss paint because abrasion can create irreversible shiny areas. This is a finish issue, not an “extreme colour” requiring a special gloss polish.

Test paint response

AVP selects machine, pad and polish from hardness, defect type, repairs, paint reserve and a test section. The same professional polish may work across several colours when the paint response supports it.

Poor technique can create holograms that appear coloured through reflected light, but the paint colour itself has not been changed.

Inspection lighting and process control matter more than a proprietary formula assigned to each colour.
