Bright yellow paint makes changes in gloss, contamination and panel-to-panel colour especially visible. The correct process still follows the finish and defects, not the colour name alone.

Prepare and test

The vehicle is washed and decontaminated before inspection. A test area establishes whether the marks need a light refinement or a more involved correction stage.

Heavy-cut compound is not selected simply because paint looks weathered. Film build, previous repairs and defect depth determine how far correction can safely go.

Refine and protect

After defect reduction, the finish is refined until haze and polishing trails are removed. A suitable protection system can then support gloss retention and easier maintenance.

The realistic aim is a clear, consistent finish, not a promise that every yellow Audi will look factory-new.
