When should car paint be refined?
There is no universal interval for polishing vehicle paint. Abrasive correction removes a small amount of material and should be carried out only when the condition and objective justify it.
AVP begins with washing, decontamination and inspection. A one-stage gloss refinement may suit light haze, while deeper defects can require several stages or may be unsafe to remove fully.
Protection and careful maintenance can preserve the result and reduce the need for repeated correction. They do not make paint immune to wear.
AVP recommends the next step from the actual finish rather than a calendar.
