A fire in an underground car park can expose a vehicle to heat, corrosive soot, water, smoke and structural impact even when it did not burn directly.

Do not start, move or clean it prematurely

Follow emergency-service instructions and keep the vehicle untouched until it is released. Contact the insurer, document the condition and arrange recovery or technical assessment.

High-voltage batteries, fuel systems, wiring, airbags, glass, tyres and heat-affected structure can remain hazardous. Cosmetic appearance cannot establish safety.

Restoration only after clearance

Once technical and insurance requirements are satisfied, AVP can assess removable soot and selected interior materials. Charred seats, belts, airbags, foam and weakened trim generally require replacement rather than cosmetic repair.

Odour treatment follows source removal. No gas or fog can safely guarantee that all fire residue has been neutralised throughout an enclosed vehicle.

AVP handles the cosmetic scope only where the vehicle and materials have been cleared for that work.
