Door-mirror caps can introduce a restrained accent without repainting the component. Vinyl offers a wide range of colours and textures and can often be removed later.

Inspect the substrate first

Film follows the surface beneath it. Stone chips, peeling clear coat, fresh paint or previous repairs can affect adhesion and may be damaged during removal.

Plan the detail as part of the car

Mirror caps can coordinate with a roof, trim or another defined accent. Edges, sensors, indicators and folding mechanisms need enough clearance to keep the result both clean and functional.

Vinyl is not permanent paint protection. Service life depends on film, preparation, exposure and care, and removal should be handled with the substrate condition in mind.
