Ink treatment at AVP

On fabric, AVP identifies fibre and colour stability before using controlled spot treatment and extraction. Dried ink may remain permanent or require several careful stages.

Leather is not automatically easier. Ink can penetrate the protective coating, while strong solvents can remove colour and finish.

Cleaning or local repair

A suitable cleaner is tested first. Where staining has become part of the coating, local preparation and recolouring may be more responsible than continued cleaning.

Household furniture and vehicle seats can have very different materials and fire-retardant finishes, so one process should not be assumed transferable. AVP confirms current mobile and non-vehicle service availability before accepting such work.
