New denim and dark clothing can transfer colour to light seats. Prompt treatment improves the chance of removal, but aggressive rubbing can damage the surface coating.

Coated leather and synthetic seats

AVP vacuums seams, identifies the material and works from a mild compatible cleaner upward. Leather is cleaned rather than abrasively polished.

A suitable protector may make later transfer easier to remove, but it cannot prevent all dye from reaching the seat.

Fabric seats

Textile transfer is assessed for fibre type and colour stability. Controlled pre-treatment, agitation and extraction may help; soaking the foam or massaging product deep into the seat is avoided.

Permanent staining, worn coating and previous cleaning damage can limit the result. A test area defines how far treatment should go.
