Removing cigarette odour from a car
Cigarette smoke leaves residue on glass, headliner, trim, seats, carpet and ventilation surfaces. Fragrance alone only adds another smell.
Clean the residue systematically
AVP cleans hard surfaces and glass with products suited to their finish. Textiles and seats are treated according to material, with moisture controlled around foam, adhesives and electronics.
Headliners are especially sensitive: deep saturation can release adhesive or distort fabric, so “deep cleaning” is not automatically appropriate.
Treat the remaining odour
After source removal and full drying, an ozone-free fogging process may be used according to current product safety and ventilation instructions.
It does not guarantee that every bacterium, spore or smoke molecule in hidden cavities has been destroyed. Cabin filters or heavily contaminated porous components may also need replacement.
Significant improvement is often possible, but neither permanent removal nor a resale-value increase can be guaranteed in every smoker’s vehicle.
