Tree resin, industrial fallout, bird droppings and tar are persistent contaminants, but polishing is not the first step for any of them.

AVP begins with a controlled hand wash and specialist decontamination. Product choice follows the contaminant and surface rather than one general chemical reaction.

Direct lighting and paint assessment then reveal whether etching, staining or scratches remain after cleaning. Paint-thickness readings can support the correction decision on compatible panels.

Polishing is used only for defects within the upper paint layer. Bird etching or deep scratches through the clear coat may improve without disappearing fully.

Industrial fallout is dissolved with an appropriate chemical process and, where necessary, carefully removed mechanically. It should not be sanded blindly or described as rust removed without touching paint.

A refining stage balances the finish after stronger correction, followed by final inspection under direct light.
