High-value interiors can combine lacquered wood, open-pore timber, leather, textiles, plastics, metal and display coatings. Their value does not make one product suitable for all of them.

Identify the finish first

A protector may reduce staining on a compatible surface, but it does not make coffee or sauce harmless. Spills should still be blotted promptly according to the material’s care instructions.

Leather and textiles need different systems, while glass treatment must preserve optical clarity. Displays and open-pore wood can be especially sensitive to unapproved chemistry.
