Dark colours tend to reveal wash marks and finishing haze more clearly, while red and other strong pigments can make oxidation especially visible. The underlying protection process, however, is not selected by colour alone.

AVP first identifies the paint system and condition. Gloss paint, matt paint, single-stage finishes and repaired panels require different handling regardless of their colour.

After suitable washing and correction, wax, polymer sealant, silica product or ceramic coating may be applied. Each offers a different balance of appearance, durability, maintenance and preparation effort.

A transparent protection layer does not restore faded pigment by itself or make defects invisible. The finish beneath it must be prepared to the agreed level first.
