A paint sealant adds a protective layer over a prepared surface. Applying it correctly requires more than spreading product across the bodywork, which is why this course allocated three days to theory and practice.

Selection came first. Participants considered the customer's durability goal, paint condition, vehicle use, storage and maintenance before deciding whether a wax, polymer sealant, silica-based product or coating was appropriate.

The training remained product-independent. Brand names and historical labels such as acrylic, nano or titanium do not define performance by themselves; the technical data, chemistry and application requirements must be understood.

Preparation and application varied by system. Participants learned decontamination, panel preparation, section size, levelling, curing conditions and inspection. Incorrect application can create high spots, uneven gloss or unnecessary rework, even if the polishing beneath it was sound.

On the final day, each participant prepared and protected a vehicle under assessment. An experienced polishing and coating specialist reviewed the work before a course certificate was issued.

A former participant sent by his employer from Germany reported that the course improved both his technical confidence and the company's product-selection process.
