Nano coatings for home surfaces
AVP previously extended surface-protection work beyond vehicles to selected stone, glass and household finishes.
Household materials need dedicated products
Marble, engineered stone, timber, mirrors and architectural glass respond differently. A coating can reduce water spotting or staining on a compatible surface, but it cannot prevent cookware, cutlery or impact from scratching it.
Food-contact approval, slip risk, ventilation, optical clarity and the surface manufacturer’s warranty all need to be considered. Automotive coating should not be assumed safe for a kitchen worktop.
Water repellency has limits
Hydrophobic glass can make cleaning easier, but rain and dust still settle and exterior windows still need maintenance. Application to both sides does not make a window self-cleaning.
This article documents a historical offer. Current home-surface service and product approvals should be confirmed before work is planned.
