Mould grows where moisture, organic residue and limited air exchange persist. A stored classic may show growth on leather while also carrying contamination in carpet, foam, headliner and ventilation paths.

Address the environment first

Do not simply wipe visible spots and return the vehicle to the same damp storage. Identify leaks, condensation and humidity, and avoid disturbing extensive dry growth without appropriate protective measures.

Do not use a universal vinegar mix

Equal parts household vinegar and water can alter leather finishes, leave moisture and fail to resolve contamination below the surface. Product and method must suit the exact leather and extent of growth.

AVP assesses cleanability, tests discreetly and controls drying. Extensive contamination, weakened leather, affected foam or recurring mould may require removal and replacement by specialists.

No surface treatment can guarantee that every spore in a vehicle has been eliminated. The durable result comes from resolving moisture as well as treating materials.
