Polishing can restore clarity to dull or lightly marked paint, but it requires more than choosing a compound by brand, model or colour.

Conditions matter

The vehicle must be thoroughly cleaned and decontaminated. Good lighting, weather protection, power, space and a stable working environment are necessary for controlled correction and inspection.

A test section establishes the least aggressive effective machine, pad and polish combination. Mobile work is only appropriate where those conditions can be achieved.

Protection follows the result

A wax, sealant or coating can protect corrected paint, but duration depends on the selected product and maintenance. It does not guarantee ten years or a higher resale value.
