This mobile AVP concept was designed for shopping centres: customers could hand over their vehicle, continue with their visit and return at an agreed time to a completed interior or exterior service.

The process was planned as follows: AVP would welcome customers near the entrance or operate from a clearly marked area agreed with the centre management. Visitors could choose interior care, exterior care or both. The average shopping visit allowed time for cleaning, while polishing or local repair work required a separate assessment and a realistic schedule.

After the handover, an AVP team member moved the car to the mobile care area. The requested work was completed and inspected before the vehicle was returned to the agreed collection point, where the customer could review the result directly.

The aim was to offer useful care within time the customer was already spending at the centre, without turning a short shopping visit into a promise that more extensive work could not meet.

On Saturday morning, the team met at the AVP base in Glattbrugg. The van had been loaded the day before with wash products, clean tools, vacuum cleaners, interior-care equipment and specialist products for the planned services.

An hour before opening, the complete team arrived on site. The shopping centre was expected to be busy, with visitors from the local area and nearby Switzerland.

After a final briefing, responsibilities were assigned. The van was unloaded, the service area was set up and the approved water and wastewater arrangements were checked. Part 2 follows the first customer vehicles and the workflow during the busy day.
