What hand polishing can achieve

A mild hand polish may improve a small area or refresh gloss. Use a clean applicator and paint-safe microfibre towels; household paper and contaminated cloths can mark the finish.

Consistent correction across a vehicle generally needs controlled machine polishing, inspection lighting and an appropriate pad-and-polish combination. Deeper scratches may remain or require repair.
