Coating an electric car
Electric and combustion vehicles follow the same core coating principle: the surface must be clean, stable and prepared for the named product.
Inspect before correcting
A new vehicle may still carry transport contamination or isolated defects, but it does not automatically need polishing. AVP corrects only what the inspection and agreed finish justify.
Separate materials
Paint, gloss trim, satin finishes, plastics, cameras and previous repairs can require different treatment. Brand details such as older “chrome” trim should not be coated without identifying the actual material.
Specify durability honestly
One-year, multi-year and ceramic systems are meaningful only when product, preparation, maintenance and warranty terms are clear. Electric propulsion does not extend coating life by itself.
AVP recommends the protection level according to use and care rather than budget labels alone.
