Cleaning fabric seats in electric cars
Fabric-seat cleaning follows the textile and contamination, not the vehicle's drivetrain.
Remove dry soil first
Thorough vacuuming lifts loose particles from the weave, seams and accessible gaps. Tools are selected to avoid pulling fibres or marking adjacent trim.
Test before wet treatment
AVP checks colour stability and identifies stains before applying compatible chemistry. Dwell time follows the product and material rather than a fixed one-hour soak.
Control moisture and drying
Extraction can remove suspended soil, but saturation may affect foam, odour, occupancy sensors or under-seat electronics. The seat must dry fully before normal use.
Cleaning may improve odour associated with a spill or pet use, but persistent odour still requires source assessment across the entire cabin.
