Ceramic coating is not defined by the simplistic chemical formula in the old article; commercial products use proprietary systems with specific application requirements.

AVP prepares the paint, corrects suitable defects and controls temperature, humidity, application and curing.

The cured layer can improve chemical resistance and cleaning behaviour. It does not prevent scratches from dragged materials or guarantee a fixed 4.5-year lifespan.

Selected panels can be coated, but compatibility and the visual transition to untreated areas should be considered first.
