AVP polishes vehicles from many manufacturers at its workshop in Glattbrugg. The process begins with washing and decontamination because clean paint is essential for both diagnosis and safe correction.

Sensitive trim is protected before polishing. Glass and unpainted plastics are not treated with ordinary paint compounds, as residue and abrasion can create difficult or permanent marks.

Most correction is completed by machine, with hand work reserved for areas a machine cannot reach safely. A professional can choose between dual-action, rotary and specialist tools according to the paint and task.

Machine movement, pad, compound, pressure and temperature are coordinated across manageable sections. Each new area overlaps the previous one so the correction remains even.

A refining stage can remove haze left by stronger correction, particularly on soft or dark paint. The result is then inspected after residue and polishing oils have been removed.

The advantage is not access to one secret product. It is the combination of paint measurement, tested systems, clean equipment and experience recognising when to stop.

Paint protection can be added after polishing. Wax, sealant and ceramic coating offer different maintenance and durability, but none makes the surface immune to future scratches or contamination.

Every AVP vehicle receives a final lighting inspection before handover. Any remaining limitation, deeper scratch or previous repair should be documented rather than hidden.
