Aircraft cleaning is not ordinary vehicle detailing. Materials, static ports, sensors, seals, transparencies and control surfaces introduce specific safety and maintenance requirements.

Only products and procedures approved for the aircraft and its components should be used. Work must follow manufacturer documentation, airfield rules and the direction of the responsible maintenance organisation.

Exterior washing removes contamination without forcing water or chemistry into sensitive areas. Any polishing must respect coating thickness, markings and restrictions around composite or specialised surfaces.

Hydrophobic treatment on aircraft transparencies is appropriate only where explicitly permitted. It never replaces serviceable wipers, visibility checks or operational procedures.
