Electric vehicles arrive with a load pattern of their own. Finer brake dust from recuperation and longer standing times at charging points leave deposits that an ordinary wash does not fully release.
The paint is therefore assessed and decontaminated before any protection is applied. Only then does the coating follow, so the surface stays smooth and soil releases more easily at the next wash.
