Winter paint and underbody care
Road salt, moisture and grit reach paint, wheel arches and the underbody through winter. Protection can support maintenance, but it does not remove the need for cleaning and inspection.
Rinse contamination regularly
Use a suitable facility and process to remove salt from accessible areas. Existing chips, failed coatings and trapped contamination deserve attention before corrosion develops further.
Inspect before adding underbody material
New wax or protection should not be applied blindly over dirt, moisture or active corrosion. The vehicle construction and existing factory system determine the compatible repair.
Keep paint claims realistic
A sealant or coating may make cleaning easier and support gloss retention. It cannot prevent clothing scratches, stone chips or every effect of winter use.
AVP separates cleaning, correction and protection so the vehicle receives only the work its condition justifies.
