A new car can arrive with bonded contamination, light wash marks or isolated transport defects. It is also wrong to assume every new vehicle has a weak factory sealant or is unprotected.

Inspect in useful light

AVP checks the paint, trim and any dealer-applied products before recommending work. Existing protection should be identified where possible rather than removed automatically.

Clean before correction

Safe washing and decontamination reveal the true finish. Polishing is only used where a correctable defect justifies material removal; mileage alone is not a reason.

Specify protection by product

A sealant or coating can support maintenance but cannot prevent all scratches. Durability depends on preparation, product and care.

The right new-car treatment may be cleaning alone, local correction, protection or no intervention at all.
