Polishing removes previous surface products, so applying fresh wax, sealant or coating afterwards is usually sensible.

The selected system can reduce contamination adhesion and support gloss retention. It cannot prevent all dirt, UV ageing or scratches.

Bodyshop work or a separately scheduled coating may require the surface to remain unprotected temporarily.
