What is paint enhancement?
Paint enhancement is a cosmetic process for improving the clarity, gloss and coherence of a vehicle finish. It does not thicken or mechanically strengthen the paint.
Begin with cleaning and inspection
Hand washing and decontamination remove residue that should not be polished. The finish is then inspected for wash marks, oxidation, repairs, chips and deeper defects.
Correct only within the paint’s limits
Polishing levels suitable defects by removing a controlled amount of material. It does not remove every irregularity, and older paint is not automatically more uneven or suitable for correction.
A test section determines the least aggressive effective combination. Paint behaviour and condition matter more than make, model or colour alone.
Protect the prepared result
Wax, sealant or ceramic coating can add water behaviour and make maintenance easier. Expected durability ranges from short-term to multi-year depending on the named system, preparation, use and care.
AVP defines the desired finish first, then combines cleaning, correction and protection without turning “enhancement” into an undefined extra step.
