Spot repair limits preparation and refinishing to a suitable local area. It can be efficient for selected scratches, chips, scuffs and small cosmetic damage.

Paintless dent repair is a separate technique that reshapes accessible metal without repainting where the paint and panel permit it. It is not simply a suction cup solution for every dent.

Safety and finish determine the method

Creases, stretched metal, corrosion, cracked substrates, sensor areas and structural damage may need conventional body repair or panel replacement. A cosmetic method cannot itself guarantee safety.

Colour matching, repair position and blend area determine how discreet the result can be. Polishing may refine the transition, but it cannot promise an invisible repair in every light.
