Why inspect after winter?

Cold, moisture, salt and poor visibility can expose existing weaknesses. A spring check combines simple owner observations with technical inspection where required.

Checks a driver can make

  • Inspect glass for chips and clean it inside and out.
  • Test lights, indicators and wipers.
  • Check screenwash and engine oil according to the manual.
  • Inspect tyres for pressure, tread and visible damage.
  • Confirm warning triangle, high-visibility equipment and first-aid supplies are present where required or desired.
  • Test ventilation and note unusual smells or noises.

Checks for the workshop

Brakes, suspension, leaks, battery condition, diagnostics, coolant, air conditioning and underbody concerns need the appropriate equipment and expertise. The workshop can also confirm service and vehicle-inspection due dates.

A clean vehicle makes exterior damage easier to see, but it does not need cosmetic perfection before a technical inspection.

Use findings to set priorities

AVP can combine in-house technical checks with cleaning and finish care. Safety and maintenance issues come first; cosmetic work follows once the vehicle’s condition is understood.
