A yacht combines gelcoat or paint, metal, glazing, teak, textiles, vinyl, leather and technical equipment. A single automotive process cannot be applied to all of them.

Define surfaces and operating constraints

Access, marina rules, fresh-water use, runoff and waste handling need agreement before work begins. Products must suit both the material and the marine environment.

Separate cleaning from repair

Controlled cleaning may improve seats, tables, rails and interior finishes. Cracked leather, degraded gelcoat, corrosion and yellowed material require separate restoration assessment and cannot be promised “as new” through cleaning.

Protectants can support maintenance when approved for the surface, but durability follows the named system and exposure rather than a blanket multi-year claim.
