Shampooing fabric car seats
Vehicle seats can use fabric, leather, synthetic materials or combinations of them. Fabric may hold soil and spills below the visible surface, but it should not be wet-cleaned merely because a calendar interval has passed.
Dry removal first
AVP vacuums seams and fibres thoroughly, then identifies stains and checks colour stability. Pre-treatment, gentle agitation and extraction are used where the material and contamination support them.
Soaking seat foam can prolong drying, create odour and affect sensors or heating. Moisture is controlled and the seat is dried fully before handover.
Avoid unsupported hygiene claims
Extraction can remove substantial soil but does not prove a seat is bacteria-free or that all lower layers were reached.
A wider interior treatment can create a more coherent result, while leather damage follows a separate cleaning or repair process.
