RubinOne First for classic cars
Classic cars can carry original single-stage paint, older repairs, modern refinishing or several systems on one body. Their protection should never be chosen by vehicle age alone.
Preserve before pursuing maximum gloss
AVP previously presented RubinOne First as a specialist coating for classic cars. Today, the sound approach begins with paint identification, thickness readings where appropriate and a discreet test area.
A compatible protective product can support gloss retention and make routine care easier. It cannot prevent scratches from covers, clothing or vegetation, and it should not conceal fragile paint or active deterioration.
Document the treatment
The selected product, preparation, corrected areas and future maintenance should be recorded. Secret-formula claims are less useful than clear technical documentation and reversible judgement where preservation matters.
RubinOne First is retained here as part of AVP’s historical service archive; the current recommendation depends on the individual vehicle.
