Chewing gum can bind to carpet fibres, fabric and textured trim. Forceful scraping may cut fibres or mark the surrounding surface.

Stabilise and lift the bulk

AVP identifies the material and uses controlled cooling or product-assisted softening where appropriate. The bulk is lifted with non-damaging tools before residue is treated.

Clean the remaining mark

Carpet does not always need removal or soaking. Local extraction may be sufficient, with moisture controlled around underlay and electronics.

Dashboard and coated trim require a discreet test because strong solvents can stain, soften or remove the finish.

Prompt treatment helps, but heat, age and prior scraping may leave permanent fibre or coating damage.
