One purpose, different chemistry

Paint coatings are designed to bond with a prepared clearcoat or compatible painted surface. Glass treatments need optical clarity and wiper compatibility. Leather and textile protection must suit the material’s finish, breathability and use.

No product should be described as a universal sealant for every surface. A discreet compatibility test is particularly important on aged, refinished or unknown materials.

Agree what protection should achieve

The useful outcome may be easier cleaning, reduced staining or support for finish retention. Durability depends on product, preparation, exposure and maintenance.
