Painted wheels face heat, brake dust, salt and frequent cleaning. A compatible coating can reduce how strongly some contamination adheres and make routine washing easier.

Prepare the complete finish

Cleaning and iron decontamination come first. The wheel is then checked for kerb damage, corrosion, failing clear coat and incompatible previous dressings.

Match the coating to the wheel

Painted, powder-coated, polished, anodised and matte wheels do not all accept the same preparation or product. Brake discs, pads, tyre tread and mounting surfaces must remain free of coating.

Protection does not prevent scratches, stone impacts, corrosion through existing damage or salt exposure indefinitely. Regular cleaning and repair of damaged finish remain essential.
