A clean surface is the foundation for paint inspection, polishing and protection. The first priority is to remove as much loose contamination as possible before touching the finish.

Work in controlled stages

AVP pre-rinses and pre-cleans the vehicle, then uses clean paint-safe wash media with adequate lubrication. Wheels, tyres, arches and bodywork have dedicated tools to limit cross-contamination.

Insects, tar, fallout and other bonded deposits are treated with compatible products rather than repeated pressure or scrubbing. A second stage is added only where the remaining contamination requires it.

Responsible wash handling

Wastewater and chemical use need appropriate site infrastructure and local compliance. Environmental claims should follow documented product information rather than broad “100% sustainable” language.

Once rinsed and dried, the paint can be assessed honestly for correction or protection. A careful wash reduces contact risk, but no contact method can promise zero marks under every condition.
