Preparing a car for spring after winter
Pre-rinse heavy winter dirt, then wash paint, wheels, arches and lower panels with compatible tools and chemicals.
Inside, remove mats, vacuum and address dampness. Persistent moisture may indicate a leak rather than a cleaning issue.
Clean glass and inspect paint for chips. Windscreen damage and corrosion need specialist assessment; insurance coverage varies by policy.
Use pressure equipment according to manufacturer guidance and never scrub grit-heavy paint with a shared brush.
