Insight
Is paint sealant right for every car?
Many sealants adhere to a properly prepared clear coat and leave a thin protective layer. That layer is not simply poured on, but it also does not become indistinguishable from the original paint.
Useful benefits
A compatible product can improve water behaviour, make some dirt easier to remove and support gloss retention.
Clear limits
Sealant does not prevent all scratches, stop fading completely or repair paint defects. Factory matte finishes, fragile classic paint and recently refinished panels may need a different approach.
Not every car automatically needs a long-term coating. AVP considers condition, use, owner priorities and future repair before recommending wax, sealant, ceramic protection or no additional treatment.
