Professional polishing aims to improve clarity and suitable defects with the least aggressive effective process. It cannot guarantee a higher sale price or make every finish look factory-new.

Too little or too much cut

An overly mild combination may not achieve the agreed correction and can encourage unnecessary repeated passes. An aggressive compound or pad can remove excess material, haze the finish or damage vulnerable edges.

Test the complete system

AVP evaluates paint condition, defect depth, hardness, repaired areas and temperature, then tests machine, pad, polish and technique together.

Thickness readings provide supporting evidence where suitable, but “evenness” and contamination are not reasons to choose a stronger polish. Dirt is removed before correction.

AVP maintains access to several correction and finishing options; the differentiator is how they are selected and controlled, not whether every formula is proprietary.
