Historical Rubin One for yachts
An older Rubin One article extended the coating range to yachts. The useful idea is selective protection; a yacht cannot responsibly be treated as one uniform surface.
Separate the materials
Gelcoat or paint, metal, glass, textiles, vinyl, leather and tables each need an approved cleaner and protectant. Salt exposure and marina conditions add further constraints.
Define realistic benefits
A compatible coating may support easier maintenance and finish retention. It cannot stop material ageing, eliminate all cleaning or guarantee a higher resale value.
The former Rubin One claims are historical. Any current yacht project must identify the surface, product, site controls, expected durability and maintenance requirements.
