Large displays are common in electric cars, but they are not unique to them. The screen coating and manufacturer guidance determine the cleaning method.

Switch and prepare as instructed

Use cleaning mode or power-down guidance where the vehicle provides it. Remove loose dust with a clean soft towel before applying pressure.

Keep liquid controlled

Apply only an approved product and minimal moisture to the towel rather than spraying the screen or surrounding controls. Avoid household glass cleaners, abrasives and dirty cloths unless the manufacturer explicitly permits them.

Inspect in changing light

A second clean towel can remove residue. Streak-free results depend on clean media and product amount, not a secret EV-specific chemical.

Paint polishing and ceramic coating are separate exterior decisions and do not follow automatically from interior screen care.
