Begin with the least aggressive method

Dust and light hand marks often need no more than a clean microfibre cloth and a mild interior cleaner. Avoid soaking switches, seams, screens or electronic controls.

Household sponges and glossy silicone dressings can scratch, smear or create distracting reflections. Always check the product against soft-touch trim, coated plastics, piano black and leather-covered panels.

Treat contamination by material

Oil, workshop dirt and embedded residue need controlled agitation and several gentle passes. Odour cannot be removed reliably by cleaning the dashboard alone; its source must be identified within the whole interior.
