Brake dust and road film collect quickly on wheels. Left for long periods, contamination can become harder to remove, especially on damaged or sensitive finishes.

Cool wheels, compatible chemistry

Cleaning begins only when the wheel and brakes are cool. Loose dirt is rinsed away, then a cleaner compatible with painted, polished, anodised or matte surfaces is allowed to work for the specified time.

Dedicated brushes and wash media reach faces, barrels and recesses without transferring brake contamination to the bodywork. Products must not dry on the surface.

Inspect what cleaning reveals

Embedded dust, corrosion, kerb damage or failed clear coat may not be removable through cleaning alone. Aggressive chemistry can make that damage worse.

A suitable wheel coating can support later maintenance, but it does not prevent impact damage or eliminate the need for regular washing.
